Eleven-billiard dollars investment to fulfill 26 projects; export income increase up to 7 billion dollars in the Fourth Developmental Program; and producing of 70 million tons of products to sale with 20 billiard dollars in Fifth Developmental Program, all show activities in this industry and related sub- industries.
In the current year Petrochemical Plan will be started to be used and production rate of petrochemical products will increase from 13.2 million tons (last year) to 22 million tons (100% increase) with 4.5 billion dollars value.
Paint and Resin Industry as one of the sub-petrochemical-industries has various advantages and potentials.
This industry started its activity 50 years ago. At this time 65 manufacturing units are active with about 900 thousand tons in the country.
Now the export of these products is more than 40 million dollars and its value equal to 500 million dollars in 2014.
The importance and application of it in industry, construction, etc. caused to organize “The 4th Specialized and the 2nd International Exhibition of Paint, Resin, Coatings and Chemicals” from 3-6 Aug. 2006 which is co-located with “ The 5th Specialized and the 2nd International Exhibition of Plastic, Lastic and Relevant Machinery & Equipment” in Isfahan International Exhibition Center.
